The Old Posthouse

Our Rooms

Guests have their own private access to The Old Posthouse.

We have a number of rooms for the use of guests.

There are 3 guest bedrooms, which are all on the first floor. Please note that The Old Posthouse is an old Victorian building, and access to the first floor is up quite steep stairs with a handrail for support. Please see our Accessibility Statement in our Terms and Conditions for further details.

The following amenities are in each bedroom/shower-room: high speed WiFi, Freeview TV, radio, alarm clock with USB ports, kettle, thermostatically controlled electric radiator, towels, liquid soap, shower gel, shampoo and conditioner, and a hairdryer; and tea, coffee and hot chocolate – with a wide choice of teas and coffees – and biscuits.

Ironing facilities and fresh milk and water are available for each of the bedrooms.

Meals are served in the Dining Room and the Snug, which are on the ground floor and are for guests’ use when eating. There is 1 table in the Snug and 2 separate tables in the Dining Room – 1 table in the Dining Room can be extended to accommodate 6.

There is a walled garden and guests can sit outside if they want to enjoy the fresh air and/or sunshine.
