2 books have inspired our ice-cream making: Caroline and Robin Weir’s “Ice Creams, Sorbets & Gelati” and David Lebovitz’s “The Perfect Scoop”.
We enjoy making and experimenting with the various recipes and so for a number of the desserts on our Evening meal menu we offer ice-cream as an accompaniment or even as a dessert on its own.
We make our own ice-cream and have been doing so for a number of years and we can offer various flavours depending on availability at any particular time. The ones we have been able to offer our guests in the past are as follows:
We have made others, and if you have a particular ice cream flavour you would like as part of your dessert then let us know and we will see what we can do. We reckon our homemade ice creams are pretty good so if you like ice cream ask what is on offer.
